It has been my pleasure to care for patients with allergies, asthma,
and other allergic conditions in Richmond, Virginia since 1985. I
trained initially in Internal Medicine at Maimonides Medical Center
in Brooklyn New York. Following my residency in medicine, I
completed my Allergy/Immunology training at Vanderbilt
University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. I hold
certifications in both Internal Medicine and Allergy/Immunology.
In addition to caring for patients, I have been involved in clinical research as lead or sub investigator for more than 15 years. Many of these nationwide studies have led to new and improved medications and treatments for allergic, nasal and chest symptoms (asthma, COPD). I also enjoy delivering educational information formally to internists, family practice physicians, nurse practitioners, and medical students regarding today’s available treatments of allergic diseases.
I have been honored to be named on the “Best Allergy Physicians” list in Richmond Magazine for many years, including the latest issue. I also gain much knowledge volunteering as a general physician for the St. James the Less Free Medical Clinic in Ashland, Virginia as well as a volunteer participant in many other civic positions in the Richmond area.
